Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Downham Market

I decided to check this place out since this place has great reviews. Service was okay, food was okay. I've been to many Indian restaurant all over the world so i expect decent Indian food. Their curry was very mild which i didn't expect. Side dishes were also bland and not warm. Couldn't really taste indian spices. The only thing i liked was their tandoori chicken. Wouldn't go back there again.

Always have a friendly greeting. Prices are very reasonable and the food is very good. Food is almost always ready on time. Great place to grab take away.

I had the ribs and wings. They were not as tasty as the last time we visited. We managed to get a booth straight away which was a massive help improvement on the mammoth wait we had last time. The food was all acceptable but no one in our party was blown away. I would eat here again if I was passing but would not make a special trip. The restaurant has been refitted and is now much more pleasant. The waiting staff were prompt, polite and attentive.

We were on our way back from a nearby farm when we drove past this place and decided to pop in before continuing home. In retrospect, I would say that the outside could do with as much care as the inside! When we entered it was surprisingly spacious and well decorated. Nice range of food and prices are comparable to most other restaurants. Service was somewhat slow but food arrived in a timely manner. I would say the food was average, however I would recommend the chocolate milkshake. Overall I would say our experience here was nice, but I would not go out of my way to go back.
